Collective Worship


We come together for Collective Worship each week day. Collective Worship forms  an important part of our day as a Church School. We come together for Worship near the end of each school day.

Monday – 2.55pm -  Celebration assembly/ Collective worship – Whole school together in the school hall.

Tuesday – 2.55pm – Collective Worship – Whole school together in the school hall.

Wednesday - 2.55pm - Collective Worship- This takes place in the classrooms with staff and pupils given the opportunity to lead Worship.

Thursday – 2.55pm - Collective Worship- Whole School together in the school hall led by Rev Nick Watson from St Thomas’ Church – This act of Collective Worship provides a direct link between the school and church.

Class Assemblies also take place on a Thursday afternoon and are scheduled throughout the year . Parents/ Carers / grandparents are warmly invited. A schedule of dates for class assemblies is issued at the beginning of the school year and parents are given reminders nearer the time. Class Assembly starts at 2:45pm.

Friday - 2.55pm – Collective Worship is class based giving staff  and pupils the opportunity to lead Worship.

We also invite guests and visiting  speakers to enrich our Collective Worship throughout the year.
