About Us

Saint Thomas’  C of E Academy is a one-form entry Primary School located in the heart of Wednesfield. The school does not have a Nursery so it takes children from a wide-range of Early Years settings in the Local Area and beyond. The school has one class for each year group and there are currently 210 children on roll. The school has a diverse cultural mix and maintains strong links with the Local Community including Saint  Thomas’ Church located in the centre of Wednesfield .The school has been at the present site since the 1960’s and became an Academy in September 2018 with Manor Multi-Academy Trust.

The school has its own Local Governing Body of ten members. These include governors who support our Christian distinctiveness, staff and parent governors. Within the Academy Trust the school retains its own individuality and Christian Distinctiveness, while at the same time it benefits from the support and expertise  within the larger Academy Trust. The school aims to ensure every child reaches their full-potential and provides  a wide-range of exciting and challenging educational experiences.
