DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY
At St Thomas’, we aim for all children to develop a love of Design Technology by inspiring curiosity and a fascination for how the changing human world around them is created. We strive for children to become problem solvers who can work collaboratively to create and design products that are relevant to their daily lives.
Our curriculum provides children with opportunities to research, represent their ideas, explore and investigate products that will inspire their final products. We aim to develop and enhance the children’s knowledge and skills through making valuable links across the curriculum, through mathematics, art, science and computing.
