ART

At St Thomas’ we value the skills and talents children show in both art and design. We celebrate their achievements in our classroom displays and school-based portfolios and work with them to develop new skills. Through the teaching of art children will become aware of the role it plays in the community and in different cultures. They will be encouraged to develop both their ability to respond critically to works of art and confidence in their own artistic ability.
